Free Ends

  1. Refer to the project drawing.
  2. Lay the first Post at the start position
  3. Attach a Run End Counterweight assembly to the first Post
  4. Position the second Post
  5. Attach a Counterweight to the second Post
  6. Position the third Post
  7. Position the fourth Post and attach a counterweight
  8. Drop handrail and kneerail into cradle fittings
  9. Repeat the procedure until completion
  10. Check that the maximum spacing for posts is no greater than 2000mm
  11. Check that the maximum spacing for Counterweights is no greater than 4000mm
  12. Check that there is a Run End Counterweight and adjacent Counterweight at each end of a run
  13. Check that the maximum spacing for Counterweights is no greater than 4000mm

Closed Installations
